Our Community Empowering Readers

We are creating a strength-based, data-informed system for all readers to map their own reading journey with support from their reading community. When students are empowered to chart their own path and reflect on their strengths, they identify as a reader. When you believe you are a reader, you act like a reader. When you develop a love of reading, your educational horizons expand.

Our model is built on the belief that a reader's identity is a key pillar of developing reading competency. Upholding this model are our values of belonging and connection, empowerment and equity, curiosity and growth.

Donating books to classrooms
Assisting schools in writing grants to support literacy
Providing professional development to educators
Presenting to Maine students about entrepreneurship and aspirations in the context of growing up in a rural state
